I’ve just repackaged this monstrous gem I originally produced artwork for 9 years ago now being released as a coloured vinyl 10″ EP on Western Star.
Psychobilly pioneers The Sharks present 4 cover versions of rock ‘n’ Roll songs originally recorded by the legendary Screaming Lord Sutch!
This week I repackaged this classic Sharks album, originally on the Anagram label in 1993, “Recreational Killer” has been well sought after yet unavailable for a million years (or something like that!). Now due for re-release on coloured vinyl on the Trophy label. Anybody worth their salt on the psychobilly scene knows the Sharks were integral to the birth of the music and this line up features the legendary Gary Day (of Morrissey’s band fame) on slap bass along with founder members Alan Wilson & Hodge. An absolute classic!
Just had this lovely 10″ vinyl EP cover artwork for “Trophy Records” approved. This is a classic EP re-issue with artwork based on the original packaging but suitably “grunged up” and modified accordingly. This features 4 songs from half of Morrissey’s old band of the time (25 years ago); Gary Day & Alain Whyte joined by Alan Wilson & Paul Hodges of psychobilly pioneers; The Sharks.
I have just been repackaging this classic EP from “The Sharks” for a re-release on the Trophy record label on 45RPM vinyl. I remember getting the “Phantom Rockers” LP from Andy’s Records back in the day and it was the first time I’d come across the style that I have called psychobilly ever since. Yes, there was The Meteors and Cramps but the whole headshaving, ripped jeans super fast bass slapping thing was just an awesome modification to the whole rock ‘n’ roll thing I already loved. Another fine release to be involved with 
Back and front of another 10″ psychobilly vinyl packaging job off to the pressing plant. This one is remastered vintage tracks from psychobilly pioneers “The Sharks” and features amazing cover art Paskal Millet, previously unpublished photos on the cover and sleeve notes by Craig Brackenridge. Oh yeah and is being pressed on red vinyl.
