I’ve just repackaged this monstrous gem I originally produced artwork for 9 years ago now being released as a coloured vinyl 10″ EP on Western Star.
Psychobilly pioneers The Sharks present 4 cover versions of rock ‘n’ Roll songs originally recorded by the legendary Screaming Lord Sutch!
Wilson’s Weird World of Instrumentals CD
Another CD album cover comes to fruition and off to the pressing plant. A new compilation of instrumentals on the Trophy Records label featuring 27 tracks of the guitar sound of Alan Wilson over the years from many different releases and labels. This is the sort of thing that happens when you lock away guys like Alan and me!
This is a snapshot of some of the many instrumental tracks by various bands that all have one thing in common: Musician Alan Wilson. Tracks in this collection span from the late 80s right up to present day, including many previously unreleased gems. A must for fans of guitar-based instrumentals.

The best of Jack Rabbit Slim double CD cover
This weeks record cover and packaging has been approved an on it’s way to the pressing plant. Jack Rabbit Slim have been one of the biggest rockabilly bands on the planet for the last 10 or 15 years up until their split fairly recently. This is for a double CD covering the best from their many albums and singles.
Sometime I just kick supplied artwork into shape for the pressing plant, sometimes I work on layout and composition and sometimes, like this time, I get full artwork duties juggling Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe InDesign to produce every aspect of the CD packaging.
Recreational Killer vinyl album artwork approved.
This week I repackaged this classic Sharks album, originally on the Anagram label in 1993, “Recreational Killer” has been well sought after yet unavailable for a million years (or something like that!). Now due for re-release on coloured vinyl on the Trophy label. Anybody worth their salt on the psychobilly scene knows the Sharks were integral to the birth of the music and this line up features the legendary Gary Day (of Morrissey’s band fame) on slap bass along with founder members Alan Wilson & Hodge. An absolute classic!
The Gazmen vinyl 10″ EP artwork
Just had this lovely 10″ vinyl EP cover artwork for “Trophy Records” approved. This is a classic EP re-issue with artwork based on the original packaging but suitably “grunged up” and modified accordingly. This features 4 songs from half of Morrissey’s old band of the time (25 years ago); Gary Day & Alain Whyte joined by Alan Wilson & Paul Hodges of psychobilly pioneers; The Sharks.
