In the world of web design today it seems that companies come and go and businesses get stranded when they’ve entrusted their websites to a designer who vanishes overnight. That’s why I’m so proud of the long term relationships I have with many of my customers. This year I have been working with Nenta Traintours of North Walsham for 30 years producing printed media, designs and, since 2001, their website too, every year without fail. Obviously I am grateful to Nenta for choosing to stick with me. Call me old fashioned but I’d rather invest time in keeping current customers happy so they come back than investing that time in searching for and trying to impress new customers. Word of mouth tends to do the rest 🙂

Alan Mills – Never Forgotten Mini LP
Sometimes, doing what I do, I get to be involved in something a bit more special than the usual ‘special’. I caught the Rock ‘n’ Roll buzz in the early 1980s from listening to the charts. When they do those 1980s compilation albums what they fail to tell you is that Rock ‘n’ Roll was pretty big news back then and always in the charts. The Jets, The Stray Cats, The Polecats, Showaddywaddy, Coast to Coast, Shakin’ Stevens, Rocky Sharpe, Matchbox, etc. were all having hits and many pop bands were trying to get in on it by recording rock ‘n’ roll too. The film “Grease” was still big news with many other films trying to cash in like “Baby Love”, “Lemon Popsicle” and “Porkies”. One of those top bands was “Coast to Coast”, I had their album and singles (“Do the Hucklebuck” and “Jump to broomstick”) and then got the album in later years when re-released on CD. The well loved and charismatic front man of “Coast to Coast”, Alan Mills, sadly died in July this year and it’s been an honour to be asked to design and produce the cover for a 10″ vinyl tribute mini-album featuring recordings by the man himself and other greats on the rock ‘n’ roll scene today, Rusti Steel and Darrel Higham along with his son, Lloyd Mills.
Merry Christmas!!!
It’s been busy, busy, busy since starting on my own in May this year and it was definitely the right thing to do. I really do appreciate all the support I have been shown and all the work that came this way. Plenty booked in for next year too. Spending the next couple of days finishing current jobs, admin, backing up systems and general maintenance ready for a fresh start next January. I will try to deal with any genuine emergencies over the break, just send me a message. Obviously I’d rather have some quality time with my family and friends during the break so appreciate it if it’s only if really necessary 🙂
Have a great Christmas!!!!
