Vinyl is still cool! Here’s the cover of the forthcoming “Henry & The Bleeders” vinyl 7″ EP which I’ve been pre-pressing for Western Star this week and has just been approved so off it goes to the pressing plant for release early next year. Now working on their CD album too! The rock ‘n’ roll train just keeps on a rollin’!!!
Little Leslie & The Bloodshots new album.
Boom! Another CD album cover shoots off to the pressing plant like a super charged B-Movie rocket to the moon from Trashville! The EP from New York band “Little Leslie & The Bloodshots” was a great bit of rockabilly and it’s a privilege to be a small part of getting the full album to the masses. Rock ‘n’ Roll!
1937 Coronation Film conversion.
This week I have edited together this 10 minute film using amazing cine film footage we was tranferred from Super-8 to VHS video tape many years back. I digitised it and edited it marrying it together with some photos from the local archive group’s collection, added subtitles and found appropriate, public domain (not in copyright) music which I dubbed in. The result was uploaded to my YouTube account and shared with the Archive groups Facebook Community as well as embeded on their main website. From an old VHS cassette to world wide distribution within a few hours!
Video is becoming more popular as access to fast internet connection increases and I’d be happy to undertake similar projects for other customers.
Norfolk Countryside 2018 Calendars for Bacton Gas Site
I don’t just produce artwork for amazing rockabilly bands and fascinating old photos. This lovely, full colour calendar is produced every year on behalf of the gas companies who share the Bacton Gas Terminals in Norfolk. Calendars are given to all the residents of the surrounding villages as a thank you for tollerating a huge gas terminal in their back garden! This was always produced, completely in-house, by Express Printing for whom I used to work, but since the closure of Express Printing’s print department I produce the artwork, collaborating with the lovely Jane Bayley from “Partridge Associates” in Aylsham and then it is printed by Barnwell Print Limited, also in Aylsham, who produce a beautiful quality job each time and are a joy to work with. 3,000 of these calendars are printed each year and feature really lovely photos from across Norfolk by some of the county’s top photographers. I have friends and family with nothing to do with the Bacton area who ask for copies of this every year and have done for years! We must have produced this for 15 years, if not more!
2018 North Walsham Archive calendars
The 2018 North Walsham and District Community Archive calendar has been delivered to my office from the printers today and looks lovely as always. This is the third year I have had the privilege to produce the calendar which has become a well loved and integral part of the town. We had lots of support from local businesses sponsoring the production and many calendars pre-ordered. A real community project.
